Frances Kyle National Moot, Trinity College Dublin
ELSA Ireland offers national moots such as the Frances Kyle National Moot organised by ELSA Trinity College Dublin. The event lasts one day and takes place in the heart of Dublin, in Trinity College Dublin’s Campus.
The competition typically deals with issues of Irish constitutional law, and aims to be accessible to all levels of undergraduate students, including those with no experience in mooting.

Helga Pederson International Moot Competition
The Helga Pederson is the world’s largest human rights moot competition. The competition involves hundreds of teams from all over the world. Participants take part in a regional round, hosted by an ELSA National Group and ELSA International. A regional round of the Helga Pederson International Moot Competition was held in Trinity College Dublin in 2023.
Jonathan H. Jackson International Moot Competition
The John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition is the annually held international moot court competition in WTO law owned by ELSA International. The competition seeks to combine ELSA International’s on-going action to contribute to Clinical Legal Education globally and the need to support and enhance the development of trade between nations.
This event brings together the brightest students from four corners of the world, WTO experts from legal academia, the WTO Secretariat and and international trade law practitioners.
International Negotiations Competition, National University of Maynooth
ELSA’s International Negotiations Competition is the major event of ELSA Maynooth’s calendar.
The INC hosts participants from all over the world, and contains a jam-packed weekend of competition, socials, merchandise and plenty of networking opportunities!
Negotiations Competition, Dublin City University
ELSA Dublin City University host a national level negotiations competition. This year the competition is partnership with Deloite.
ELSA Ireland
