Ben’s Experience
Ben is the Secretary General of ELSA DCU, the External Expansion Director on ELSA Ireland, and a second year law student in DCU.
‘SELS is the best experience I have had to date with ELSA. It connected me with students from across the continent, who I now consider lifelong friends. ELSA Delegations – Put Your Legal Education into an Advocational, and International
ELSA holds consultative membership in several international organisations such as the Council of Europe and various UN bodies. ELSA regularly sends delegations formed by its members to international sessions on major international issues. In total, ELSA sends over 300 delegates every around the world.
Applying to ELSA Delegations
Calls for delegates will be published every couple of months. Delegation meetings usually take five days and a single delegation consists of 4 to 5 people. Participating in an ELSA Delegation is free, but the participants will pay for their own travel and accommodation.
Socials
The student experience is not complete without social events, and ELSA Ireland offers a plethora of collaborative socials. Aside from the entertaining pub quizzes, and karaoke nights ELSA socials enable you to meet law students from across the country, and the world
